I am a Grey Wolf. I was born on the black mountains of Thomas Castle. There is a little cottage at the edge of the wood near the castle. An old lady lives in the cottage.
Once the old woman went into the castle’s garden to get some beans. On the way back she found something hairy near some bushes. She looked over the bushes and saw a hairy toe. It was almost half her size. ”I‘ll like this little toe for a wonderful dinner.” she said to herself. She took the hairy toe to her cottage. What a delicious dinner! Then, after dinner she had a cup of tea and then went to bed to sleep. I was also fast asleep when I heard a humbling sound and then a loud voice came “Where’s my hairy toe…?” I ran away as quick as lightning. The wind blew and the lady felt uncomfortable. After some time the voice sounded again and the old lady felt more and more uncomfortable. She got up and locked the wooden door with a large, flat log and after that she thought she was safe. Then she went back to bed and slept soundly. Wait a minute, I am smelling something, something huge with a missing toe. Then, what a bang. The door rattled as the banging continued. A loud scream sounded. Maybe a prisoner escaped from the dungeons in Thomas Castle. I wasn’t sure what it was. I thought it was the one I smelt along the road. Goodness knows. I decided to go back to the safety of the mountains. As I was leaving I saw the door of the cottage burst open and then I ran down the mountain again and got into the cottage. There was a giant. He was gripping the lady and shaking her violently. I wanted to help and all of a sudden I said “AH, so this angry giant is the one I smelt along the road and can you please leave the lady.” “NEVER!!!” he said. “Ok then, let’s battle, if you win you you’ll take her but if you don’t, you run away.” I said. “Oh yes!” he replied. Then he let the lady down and we began to fight. “OOWWEE!!!” the giant shouted”you took another toe off!” My advice was ”Better run away” and after telling him that I snarled angrily. As soon as he saw my sharp fangs and my determination, WOOSH! He went out of the cottage and ran away.
Now the lady is safe at her cottage. She hugged me a lot after saving her. It was really funny to see that giant running away. Then I confessed to the lady, ” I was the one who bit bit his toe off and then hid it into the bushes” “Ah, and I ate it!” she replied with a smile. We all went on laughing that night. It was fantastic! We have been friends eversince.
